COMMENTS: G.S.R. 693(E) announces the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products (Packaging and Labelling (Amendment) Rules, 2008. Issued after G.S.R. 182(E) (the Cigarette and other Tobacco Products (Packaging and Labelling) Rules, 2008), G.S.R. 693(E) contains substitute language regarding health warnings on retail packaging, requiring warnings to be printed on external packaging such as cartons.
