Prevention of Smoking and Exposure in Public Places Act, 1983 (as amended)

COMMENTS: The Prevention of Smoking and Exposure to Smoking in Public Places Law, 1983 regulates smoking in indoor public places, indoor workplaces, and on public transport. The Addendum to the law lists places where smoking is either prohibited or restricted to designated smoking rooms. The law has been amended several times, most recently in February 2016, and regulates the use of e-cigarettes and tobacco products, including heated tobacco products.
