Tobacco Products (Control of Advertising, Sponsorship and Sales Promotion) Regulations 1991 (S.I. No. 326 of 1991)

COMMENTS: The Tobacco Products (Control of Advertising, Sponsorship and Sales Promotion) Regulations 1991 (S.I. No. 326 of 1991) regulate advertising, promotion and sponsorship of tobacco products. These regulations were substantially revised by amendments adopted in 1996, 2000, 2009, and 2012. Provisions in these regulations regarding packaging and labeling were repealed and replaced by the EC Manufacture, Presentation and Sale of Tobacco Products Regulations 2003 and 2008.

To the best of our knowledge, all laws provided here are in effect as of October 31, 2024 unless otherwise noted.
