Tobacco (Smoking Control) Act of 1986, Ch. 315 (as amended)
COMMENTS: Tobacco (Smoking Control) Act of 1986, Ch. 315 (as amended) is the primary tobacco control legislation governing smoke free places; tobacco advertising, promotion and sponsorship; and location-based sales restrictions. In addition to authorizing regulations on these topics, the Act authorizes regulations on packaging and labeling, tobacco product contents and disclosures, and sales restrictions.
