Tobacco Control Act, 2007
COMMENTS: The Tobacco Control Act, 2007 is a comprehensive law covering many aspects of tobacco control, including, but not limited to: advertising, promotion and sponsorship; health warnings and messages; restrictions on public smoking; and enforcement. In addition, the law empowers the Minister of Public Health and Sanitation to administer the law, with the advice of the Tobacco Control Board established under the Act.
To the best of our knowledge, all laws provided here are in effect as of December 26, 2024 unless otherwise noted.
