The Petitioner sought an order directing the State of Gujarat and others to remove advertisements of gutkha and/or pan masala displayed on public conveyances operated by the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation and the Ahmedabad Municipal Services Buses. By order, the court observed that such advertisements are sufficiently prohibited by the public conveyance companies and thus disposed of the petition.
