Disclosure by manufacturers and importers of cigarettes to government authorities of information on the contents and/or ingredients used in the manufacture of their cigarettes
Government authorities
The law requires that tobacco product manufacturers and importers provide the government with information on the composition and emissions of their products.
The law aligns with FCTC Art. 10 and the FCTC Arts. 9 & 10 Partial Guidelines in that it requires disclosure by manufacturers and importers to government authorities of information on the contents and/or ingredients used in the manufacture of their cigarettes.

Disclosed information readily available to the public
Government authorities
The law requires manufacturers and importers to communicate to the public information on the toxic ingredients of tobacco products and the emissions that they are likely to produce. However, it is uncertain which ingredients are classified as “toxic” and hence subject to this requirement.
The law aligns with FCTC Art. 10 and the FCTC Arts. 9 & 10 Partial Guidelines in that it requires that some disclosed information be made readily available to the public. However, requiring information on all ingredients and emissions would be clearer.
