Description of current required warnings/messages:
Each tobacco product package must contain the following:
(1) Main warning: “Warning: Tobacco destroys health and leads to death.”
(2) Secondary warning, beneath main warning: “The damaging effects of smoking strike both the smoker and the non-smoker.”
(3) Pictorial warning and relevant text, which rotates.
Beginning in 2012, the warnings were required to include a quitline number.
