1. Smoking while pregnant is a cause of the occurrence of developmental disorders or premature birth. Epidemiological statistics show that smoking during pregnancy increases the danger of underweight births by approximately two times and the danger of premature births by approximately three times. 2. Smoking can adversely impact the health of those around you, especially infants, children and the elderly. If you smoke, be careful not to cause problems for people around you.
3. Although there are differences of degree by individual, nicotine causes addiction to smoking.
4. Smoking by minors can have a comparatively great adverse effect on the health and tendency to become addicted to smoking. Never smoke even if those around you encourage you to do so.
