Advertising and Promotion
Judicial Police; Agents deputized by the Ministry of Commerce; Agents of Customs
Anyone who infringes on the prohibition of advertising or other kinds of promotion of tobacco is susceptible to a sentence of imprisonment of one to fifteen days, and a fine of 200,000 francs, or only one of these two punishments.
To align with FCTC Art. 13 and the FCTC Art. 13 Guidelines, the law should also provide for cumulative or greater penalties for repeat offenses, and license suspension or revocation where appropriate.
Sponsorship
