Disclosure Requirements
Disclosure by manufacturers and importers of cigarettes to government authorities of information on the contents and/or ingredients used in the manufacture of their cigarettes
Ministry of Health and Population
The law requires manufacturers of tobacco products to submit to the Ministry of Health and Population the details of the quantity of nicotine, hazardous constituents, and other prescribed information about the tobacco products before sales or distribution of such products.
The law aligns with FCTC Art. 10 and the FCTC Arts. 9 & 10 Partial Guidelines in that it requires disclosure by manufacturers and importers to government authorities of information on the contents and/or ingredients used in the manufacture of their cigarettes.

Ministry of Health and Population
The law requires manufacturers of tobacco products to submit annually to the Ministry of Health and Population details of the quantity of nicotine, tar, carbon monoxide, nitrosamine, and benzopyrene, in addition to other prescribed information.
The law aligns with FCTC Art. 10 and the FCTC Arts. 9 & 10 Partial Guidelines in that it requires disclosure by manufacturers and importers to government authorities of information on the emissions of their cigarettes.
Disclosed information readily available to the public
The law requires manufacturers and related parties to provide transparent and factual information to consumers about harmful chemicals in tobacco products. However, there are no specific provisions or regulations on how this information will be available to the public.
The law should specify how the disclosed information will be made readily available to the public to fully align with FCTC Art. 10 and the FCTC Arts. 9 & 10 Partial Guidelines.
