The law defines “tobacco product” as a product made from the whole or part of the tobacco material processed in the form of cigarette, cigar, loose tobacco fiber, water pipe tobacco and other types. The law also prohibits the advertising and promotion of tobacco products and direct marketing to the users of tobacco in any form. Therefore, existing tobacco advertising and promotion restrictions are interpreted to apply to tobacco inserts. The law prohibits advertising and promotion of tobacco products.
