Heated Tobacco Product
“Heated Tobacco Product” means electronic systems or devices intended to inhale tobacco vapors or aerosols.
The resolution extends the prohibition of "heated tobacco products" to “any type of accessory intended for the operation of such systems or devices, as well as tobacco cartridges and sticks to be heated in such systems,” which refers to tobacco inserts and devices.
For the purpose of this review, we will be using the term “HTP” when referring to a “heated tobacco product.”
Consumption of products made with tobacco
“Consumption of products made with tobacco” means the act of inhaling, exhaling, chewing, sucking or keeping lit a product made with tobacco.
The definition of “consumption of products made with tobacco” is significant in the application of smoking restrictions to HTPs.
