Sales Restrictions
The sale of tobacco products is prohibited in Bhutan. A violation of this sales ban is a felony of the fourth degree under the Penal Code of Bhutan, which is punishable by three to five years in prison. A court may also order the suspension or revocation of the business license.

The sale of tobacco products is prohibited in Bhutan. Tobacco products may be imported only for personal use. Accordingly, there are no location-based sales restrictions and, therefore, no associated penalties.
