Sales Restrictions

Violations of the ban on vending machine sales, internet sales, or the sale of smokeless tobacco products are punishable by a fine of 4,000 MOP. Tobacco industry entities that sell prohibited products including, smokeless tobacco products, are subject to a fine ranging between 20,000 to 200,000 MOP.
Any products found in violation of sales restrictions may be seized and destroyed.
Location-based Sales Restrictions

Violations of location-based sales restrictions are subject to a fine of 4,000 MOP.
Any products found in violation of location-based sales restrictions may be seized and destroyed.
Minimum Retail Package Size
(e.g., seizure of the product, publication of the violation/violator)
Sellers violating the minimum retail package size are subject to a fine of 4,000 MOP. Tobacco industry entities violating the minimum retail package size are subject to a fine of 20,000 to 200,000 MOP.
Any products found in violation of minimum retail package size requirements may be seized and destroyed.
Minimum Legal Sales Age
(e.g., seizure of the product, publication of the violation/violator)
Violations of the ban on sales to persons below the age of 18 are punishable by a fine of 20,000 MOP.
Any products sold to someone below the legal age may be seized and destroyed.
