Tobacco Product
Tobacco product: any substance or manufactured good prepared totally or partially using tobacco leaves as raw materials and aimed at being smoked, sucked, chewed, or used as snuff.

Any product entirely or partly made of the leaf tobacco as a raw material which is manufactured to be used for smoking, sucking, chewing, or snuffing. (FCTC Art. 1(f))
Outside Packaging and Labeling
External packaging and labeling: all packaging and labeling used in retail sale of tobacco products.
This definition is comprehensive and incorporates the FCTC Art. 11 definition of the term.

Front Face
Front face: the principal display surface of a package, where the business trademark, logo and net product contents are located.
Back Face
Back face: the area or surface opposite the front face.
Side Face
Side face: the area or surface located next to the front face and back face and which does not correspond to the area of lesser surface.
