Disclosure Requirements
Disclosure by manufacturers and importers of cigarettes to government authorities of information on the contents and/or ingredients used in the manufacture of their cigarettes
National Laboratory of Health, Environment and Food
Prior to placing tobacco products on the market, manufacturers and importers of tobacco products must disclose to the National Laboratory of Health, Environment and Food, for every brand and type of tobacco product, a list of all ingredients and quantities thereof used in the product.
The law aligns with FCTC Art. 10 and the FCTC Arts. 9 & 10 Partial Guidelines in that it requires disclosure by manufacturers and importers to government authorities of information on the contents and/or ingredients used in the manufacture of their cigarettes.

National Laboratory of Health, Environment and Food
Prior to placing tobacco products on the market, manufacturers and importers of tobacco products must disclose to the National Laboratory of Health, Environment and Food, for every brand and type of tobacco product, emissions levels for tar, nicotine and carbon monoxide and, where available, information on other emissions and their levels.
The law aligns with FCTC Art. 10 and the FCTC Arts. 9 & 10 Partial Guidelines in that it requires disclosure by manufacturers and importers to government authorities of information on the emissions of their cigarettes.

The law requires disclosed information to be published on the website of the National Laboratory of Health, Environment and Food.
The law aligns with FCTC Art. 10 and the FCTC Arts. 9 & 10 Partial Guidelines in that it requires that disclosed information be made readily available to the public.
