Sales Restrictions
Violations of the ban on single cigarette sales are subject to a fine in the amount of 150-200 minimum wage units.
Violations of the ban on vending machine sales are subject to in the amount of 200-250 minimum wage units.
Violations of the ban on the sale of chewing tobacco are subject to the general penalty for sales violations, which is a fine in the amount of 80-100 minimum wage units; a repeat violation within six months is subject to a fine in the amount of 200 minimum wage units.
Location-based Sales Restrictions
Violations of location-based sales restrictions are punishable by a fine in the amount of 200-250 minimum wage units; a repeat violation within six months is subject to a fine doubling the amount of the original fine.
Minimum Retail Package Size
The law does not regulate the minimum size of tobacco product packages; therefore, there are no associated penalties.
Minimum Legal Sales Age
Violations of the ban on sales to persons below the age of 18 are punishable by a fine in the amount of 80-100 minimum wage units.
