Disclosure Requirements
Disclosure by manufacturers and importers of cigarettes to government authorities of information on the contents and/or ingredients used in the manufacture of their cigarettes
National Health Authority
The law establishes that the National Health Authority determines the information that manufacturers are required to provide to authorities with respect to tobacco products and their harmful effects. Furthermore, the regulation states that companies that manufacture, import and sell wholesale tobacco products must prepare, upon entry to the market and thereafter annually, a technical report on the type of their tobacco products, brands, design, number of units per individual package, along with information on ingredients, components, additives and other substances used in their manufacture; however, this information shall not include commercial secrets.
The law aligns with FCTC Art. 10 and the FCTC Arts. 9 & 10 Partial Guidelines in that it requires disclosure by manufacturers and importers to government authorities of information on the contents and/or ingredients used in the manufacture of their cigarettes.

National Health Authority
The regulation of the Organic Law establishes that companies that manufacture, import and sell tobacco products must present, upon entry to the market and thereafter annually, a technical report on their tobacco products, brands, design, number of units per individual package, along with information on emissions and residues; however, this information shall not include commercial secrets.
The law aligns with FCTC Art. 10 and the FCTC Arts. 9 & 10 Partial Guidelines in that it requires disclosure by manufacturers and importers to government authorities of information on the emissions of their cigarettes.
Disclosed information readily available to the public
National Health Authority
The law establishes that the National Health Authority is empowered to define which information must be made public regarding tobacco products and their harmful effects. However, no regulations on how to make the disclosed information public have yet been issued. Therefore, the regulatory status code "Not Required" is given.
To more fully align with FCTC Art. 10 and the FCTC Arts. 9 & 10 Partial Guidelines, the National Health Authority should provide how the disclosed information will be made readily available to the public.
