Smoked Tobacco Products
Smoked tobacco products must display one of the two following text warnings on the front of the package:
1) “Smoking kills” or
2) “Smoking seriously harms you and others around you”
Smoked tobacco products must display one of the 14 following combined text and picture warnings on the back of the package:
1) Smoking reduces life expectancy (image: foot with toe tag)
2) Smoking leads to hardening of the arteries and causes heart attacks and strokes (image: surgery)
3) Smoking leads to fatal lung cancer (image: healthy and damaged lungs)
4) Smoking whilst pregnant will harm your child (image: infant)
5) Protect children from tobacco smoke – don’t let them breath in your smoke (image: child with respirator)
6) Your doctor or chemist can help you quit smoking (image: text only)
7) Smoking is strongly addictive – don’t start smoking (image: smoking man on IV)
8) If you stop smoking, you will reduce the risk of fatal heart and lung diseases (image: text only)
9) Smoking can lead to a long and painful death (image: man in hospital bed)

Smokeless Tobacco Products
Smokeless tobacco products must display the following warning message on the most visible side of the package: “This tobacco product can harm your health and is addictive.”
