Analysis
Decree 015-2008, amended by Decree 001-2011, prohibits smoking in all indoor and outdoor areas of institutions dedicated to health and education.
The law aligns with FCTC Art. 8 and the FCTC Art. 8 Guidelines, which obligate Parties to adopt and implement effective measures providing protection from exposure to tobacco smoke “in indoor workplaces, public transport, indoor public places and, as appropriate, other public places.”
