Entities that place on the market
A failure to comply with content regulations is subject to a fine from 50,000.00 lei to 100,000.00 lei, and the marketing of non-compliant products shall be prohibited or suspended until the product is brought into compliance.
The law aligns with FCTC Art. 9 and the FCTC Arts. 9 & 10 Partial Guidelines in that it imposes sanctions for content regulation violations.
Disclosure requirement
Manufacturers, importers
Failure to comply with constituent disclosure requirements is subject to a fine from 50,000.00 lei to 100,000.00 lei.
