Smoke Free Status of Outdoor Places
Outdoor places and spectator areas where cultural, artistic, sports and entertainment activities are held
Use of tobacco products is prohibited in outdoor places and spectator areas where cultural, artistic, sports, and entertainment activities are held. However, designated areas for consuming tobacco products can be provided in such places.
According to Circular 2009/13, these designated smoking areas shall not exceed 50% of the total area of the public gallery, and the exposure of other people to the smoke should be prevented.
Outdoor areas of private establishments preparing students for various examinations and outdoor premises of preschool educational facilities
The law prohibits smoking in outdoor areas accepted as part of the premises of: preschool educational institutions, primary and secondary schools, including private establishments preparing students for various examinations, and cultural and social service buildings.
According to Circular 2009/13, it is prohibited to use tobacco products in indoor and outdoor areas of private establishments preparing students for various examinations and preschool educational institutions, primary and secondary schools including their cultural and social service buildings.
