Analysis
The Administrative Offenses Code authorizes the police to enforce provisions on smoking restrictions. The Code does not specify inspection protocols.
The law aligns with FCTC Art. 8 and the FCTC Art. 8 Guidelines in that it specifies an enforcement agency for smoking violations. To more fully align, the law should clearly impose a duty to enforce and specify inspection duties.
